The issue
Rising rent
Rent goes up and neighbors can no longer stay.
Home ownership access
A path to owning a home here. A way for neighbors to see a home first, find a room, and know the real cost before they call.
The issue
Evictions
Neighbors face eviction, often alone and without notice they understand.
Eviction help
A timeline and plain help for neighbors facing eviction, and a way to find an attorney who knows the block. Not legal advice.
The issue
Displacement

Repair support and the record
Repair support so families can stay. A record written by neighbors. Word before a decision is made.

The issue
Know before it happens
Decisions get made about a neighborhood before the neighbors hear about them.
Plain words, on time, specific to your street.
The city opened a 300-acre dump there in 1937, a second landfill in 1964 and an incinerator in 1967. Federal regulators shut the incinerator in 1974 after finding lead.
The issue
Food insecurity
Too many neighbors go without a hot meal.
Hot meal access
Hot meal access in our neighborhoods. This one is being built.
The issue
Too few ways to grow
Few doors open for neighbors who want to learn, earn and lead.
Ways to grow yourself
Free training, in person, from your own block, and a path to grow.
The issue
Connection and access
The people who love a neighborhood are spread far and wide, and hard to reach.
BNU Tap-In
One tap shares who you are, so neighbors can find and reach each other.

The issue
Spending with the neighborhood
Money leaves when the businesses that serve a neighborhood do.
We support the businesses that stay and serve the neighborhood, and we ask every business: we support the neighborhood, do you?

One issue at a time. Your block first.
Neighborhood ambassadors live in the neighborhood they speak for. Neighborhood ambassador spots are limited and by invitation. We never promise one.
